Although published prior to the Trump presidency, which indisputably created a more tense political climate, the book is still extremely relevant to the current state of American society.
The Fractured Republic was written in 2016. At no point during the book have I felt that Levin has attacked one party more than the other, and I would say that there is no bias actively displayed in the book. The book details the state of America socially and politically, and thoroughly explains the politics, social movements, and historical events that led America to its current state.
